18th February 2020

After 14 years of passion, innovation, hard work and love, it is with great sadness that our gyms: The Clock, Notting Hill (formerly The Library), Marylebone, and Barnes (formerly The Little Library) will cease trading today.

This is the one of the hardest days of a very harrowing 12 months that have seen the sudden passing of Karen, my best friend and business partner and Simone, my sister who was also a partner in the gyms. We had together built a business that required all our varied skills and resources and the loss of them both has undoubtedly impacted everything.

Despite the greatest of efforts in recent months including further investment from Karen’s husband, made worse with a very sudden and unexpected downturn in revenue over the past month, we have been placed in a position where we can no longer responsibly continue to trade.

It is with huge sadness to tell you that we have had to take the advice of an insolvency practitioner, Nick Barnett, to close the doors of all 3 gyms at 3pm today.

Funds including the proceeds of my home will be going towards some of the guaranteed debt and advisors will be in direct contact with all creditors.  If you have been effected please contact Nick Barnett directly via email: nbarnett@libertasassociates.co.uk or phone: 07973 468 134

Please note that the Company telephone numbers/website and email addresses are no longer monitored and all contact should now be directed to Libertas using the details provided above.

This is a shock and blow to not only myself but all of the team, who have supported me through the past number of months and years.

And to you, our clients who have supported us and allowed us to help and support you, directly or indirectly, over this time. You have invested in yourself, your health and your future and words cannot express how truly sorry I am that we cannot continue to care for you further at this moment in time.

With the greatest of sadness

Having continually recognised flaws in the conventional, cookie-cutter gym industry, Founder of The Clock, Zana is a firm believer in the importance of a personalised approach to fitness and health. Her 15 minute High Intensity Weight Training (HIWT) philosophy informed the construction of the Timepiece – a revolutionary piece of equipment that optimises time through intelligent training – and the design of the Clock Gym – a beautiful and intimate training space that caters to the individual.
